Overview
Introduction to Practical Wireline Logging is a 15-hour course. It is geared not only to the newer wellsite geologist but, is also extremely useful for the office geologist, or someone who needs a refresher on log usage.
Students learn all about the various logging tools and curves, and time is spent identifying rock lithologies on all curves that you will encounter, along with some calculations that you will find useful throughout your career.
The course will be offered over two days with lunch being provided on the second day. Students will be given a course binder with all worksheets as well as, a PDF version.
Fee: $850 + GST
(50% discount for student and in transition oil and gas geologists)
Cancellation Policy
Students must notify Canstrat 7 business days before the course start date of cancellation in order to receive a full refund. If cancellation occurs within 7 business days of the start date 50% of the paid amount will be kept by Canstrat as an administration fee.
